Dear Evocateurs, Midwives of Souls, Leaders of the New Century, Our recent free conference call series was crafted to introduce you to Social Artistry and the upcoming Social Artistry Leadership Intensive, Design for a New World: The Social Artist as Creator of a World that Works for Everyone. Some of the insights we explored during these calls will form the foundation for our summer leadership institute.
Why listen? Because I'd like you to be a part of birthing a new vision, a new paradigm for our time. A profound change is happening on our planet, and gaining momentum each day. I know that many of you are sensing this change. You feel a calling to be stewards for this new civilization that is coming into its time. All across the world, individuals are touching a depth of hunger in themselves that will not be silenced or appeased. The hunger is infectious. It is engaging the hearts and minds of people everywhere. These ARE the times and we ARE THE PEOPLE. "I believe the most important single thing beyond discipline and creativity is daring to dare," says Maya Angelou. This is the year we dare to dare. This is the year we set in place, through discipline and intention, creativity and intention, care and intention, magic and intention, the means to shift the world away from hopelessness, fear, entanglements of misery and general despair, toward vision, possibility, energy, compassion and power. That's for starters. Our focus during the ten-day intensive is on developing skillful inner capacities that make it possible for us to act effectively, courageously, even outrageously, on behalf of the world and its people, at every possible level. We'll find information, inspiration and impetus to weave the inner work with the outer forms for our particular projects and passions, and create sustainable change, within and without. The emphasis is to invite voyages of discovery into the great treasury storehouse that lies within each of us, and then to find means of sharing its riches with artistry, grace, effectiveness and passion to create personal and planetary "world shifts."
